Abstract
The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy and can be applied to the manufacture of structures operating at low temperatures, for example, in the construction of gas pipelines, oil pipelines, tanks. The purpose of the invention is to increase strength, ductility, toughness at -20 ° C, resistance to brittle fracture due to an increase in the proportion of fiber in the fracture, while maintaining weldability. The steel additionally contains zirconium in the following ratio of components, wt.%: Carbon 0.06-0.13; manganese 1.3-2; silicon 0.1-0.5; niobium 0.005-0.05; aluminum 0.005-0.05; titanium 0.01-0.1; nitrogen 0,005; 0.015; calcium 0.001-0.01; zirconium 0.005-0.1; iron else. The sum of the contents of titanium and zirconium is 0.05-0.12. The application of the proposed steel allows to improve the performance characteristics of products while reducing the metal consumption of products. 2 tab. cl
Description
The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the composition of structural steel, and can be applied to the manufacture of structures operating at low temperatures, for example, in the construction of gas pipelines, oil pipelines, tanks.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the strength, ductility, toughness at 20 ° C, resistance to brittle fracture by increasing the fiber share in the fracture while maintaining weldability.
The steel is smelted in an open induction furnace and poured into ingots weighing 17 kg, which is forged per billet 60x60x500 mm in size. They were cut into three parts and rolled onto a sheet 12 mm thick in a controlled manner. The heating temperature for rolling is 1150 ° C1 and the temperature of the end of rolling is 720 ° C.
To determine the mechanical properties of the sheet, round turned samples and impact bend samples are cut out.
Samples are cut across the rolling direction.
2.The chemical composition of the proposed and known steel is given in table 1; mechanical properties - in table 2.
The application of the proposed steel instead of the known will allow to increase the operational characteristics of the products while reducing the metal consumption of the product.
