Abstract
The invention relates to instrumentation, in particular, to a magnetic recording technique, and can be used in magnetic tape drives. The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy of the direction of the magnetic tape in terms of shock and vibration. The goal is achieved by the fact that the cheek 4 in the form of a ring is provided with an axis 5 of rotation of the cheek 4 fixed in a cylindrical element 1 perpendicular to its axis, the cylindrical element 1 on the other end has a fixed abutment surface 3 with helical springs 6 installed in it 4, and the springs are offset relative to the axis of rotation of the cheek in the direction of the tape. 3 il.
Description
.The invention relates to a magnetic recording technique, in particular to guide racks for magnetic tape. .
The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy of the direction of the magnetic tape in terms of shock and vibration. Figure 1 shows a guide post with a magnetic tape, a general view; figure 2 - section aa in figure 1; Fig. 3 shows a guide post without a magnetic tape.
7.The guide post contains a cylindrical element 1, a supporting plane 2. fixed on one end of an element 1, a thrust plane 3 fixed on the other end of element 1, a cheek 4 in the form of a ring mounted on an axis of rotation 5 in a cylindrical element 1, springs 6, adjusting screws 7.
Guide stand works as follows.
1The magnetic tape is pressed by turning the cheek 4 on the axis of rotation 5 relative to the cylindrical element 1
3.under the action of springs 6, which are shifted relative to the axis 5 of rotation in the direction to the magnetic tape. In the absence of a magnetic tape, rotation of the cheek 4 from the force of the pressure of the springs 6 is limited by the stop plane 3.
2.In the case of impact on the guide post of shock, vibration loads in any direction, the movable cheek 4, the mass of which is located symmetrically to the axis of rotation 5, will always be balanced, i.e. inertial forces are mutually balanced. Consequently, the cheek 4 will not change its position relative to the cylindrical element 1 with the supporting plane 2, and the forces of the springs 6 will not exceed the permissible limit of pressing the magnetic tape to the supporting plane 2.
