Abstract
The purpose of the invention is to increase the safety and productivity of poultry. Chicks aged 4-17 weeks of age are kept in intermittent lighting and drinking. The first phase of illumination lasts from 9 to 12, the second from 14 to 17 h. Watering begins simultaneously with the illumination phase and continues for 1.5 hours in each period. At other times, the chicks are kept without access to water. The restriction in water provides a more efficient digestion of feed, as a result - an increase in egg productivity, as well as economy of spectro energy. feed consumption, improves physiological indicators. 3 tabl | sl fc
Description
The invention relates to poultry.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the safety and productivity of poultry.
In tab. Figure 1 shows the different modes of watering and illumination for chickens from 4 to 17 weeks of age.
In accordance with the invention, water is supplied to the drinkers twice a day, simultaneously with illumination for 1.5 hours in each period (group 4). The rest of the time the bird is kept without water.
It is established that the bird does not drink water in the dark period. Observations showed that the amount of water drunk increases with its constant presence in the drinkers, i.e. constant feeding of food during the day contributes to the constant consumption of water. At the same time, the bird drinks part of the water in order to somehow occupy its free time. The constant flow of water into the poultry organism contributes to the accelerated passage of feed through the gastrointestinal tract, which leads to a significant decrease in the digestibility of feed nutrients. Consequently, the food is not fully absorbed in the body, is expelled from the body along with the droppings. Analysis of the data suggests that the body's physiological need for water is much lower.
Figure 2 presents the comparative results of breeding poultry with varying modes of lighting and watering.
В табл, 3 представлены сравнительные данные по затратам, физиологическим показател м и деловому выходу молодн ка при разных режимах освещени .Table 3 presents comparative data on costs, physiological indicators, and business output of young animals under different lighting conditions.
When using the proposed method (group 4), the amount of feed and water consumed during the period of light was respectively 89.7 and 99.1%. Moisture and litter yield on average per 1 head in the control group were 75.6% and 77.9 g, respectively, and in this method, 69.9% and 58.8 g, respectively.
