Abstract
Description
The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to poultry farming, and in particular to methods and devices for drinking chickens in the technology of raising young birds for breeding and when growing for meat.
Known methods of activating water consumption to stop dehydration of the body of chickens in growing technologies using nipple drinkers :
1. After landing the chickens from the crates in the section of the house, the operators walk along the nipple drinkers and release a few drops of water from each nipple, attracting the chickens with their actions.
2. In addition to nipple drinkers, chute, vacuum and cup drinkers are installed in the house to increase the likelihood of chicks quickly meeting with water and to stop dehydration, and to allow chickens to master nipple drinkers in 3-4 days.
358).2.1. In the practice of industrial poultry farming, due to the lack of an effective way of activating water consumption by chickens, there was a very laborious technological method of teaching daily young animals to find and drink water, for this each chicken was manually dipped with its beak in a groove drinker. In the future, that part of individuals that learned to drink water more quickly attracted others to drinking by their behavior (“Birds and Poultry Farming.” - Kharkov: “Espada”, 2002, 520 p.: P. 358).
358).2.2. Sometimes poultry farmers preferred in the first week of raising chickens in poultry houses with nipple drinkers, to put additional groove drinkers in the sections with bubbling water in them (“Birds and Poultry Production.” - Kharkov: “Espada”, 2002, - 520 pp., P. 358) .
360).3. A known method of activation of non-adapted day old chickens by replanting chickens of 3-4 days of age, actively using drinking bowls and feeders. Other chickens followed suit. This soon led to a general food activity (“Birds and Poultry Farming.” - Kharkov: “Espada”, 2002, - 520 p.: P. 360).
A disadvantage of the known methods is their low efficiency.
The objective of the invention : the development of a method and device for activating the consumption of water by chickens when drinking from nipple drinkers to ensure quick detection of nipples by chickens and pecking droplets of water necessary to replenish its deficiency in the body and create favorable conditions for physiological functions.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:feature the technology for raising chickens with nipple drinkers is that young animals do not have access to open water, as in technology using grooved or cup drinkers. Water in nipple drinkers is located in pipes on which nipples are installed. Water droplets appear on the nipples after touching them. Naturally, chickens planted for growing require a lot of time to find water and to pay attention to the nipples and peck the first drops from them. Without water consumption, chickens become dehydrated.
According to the invention, in order to activate water consumption by chickens when drinking from nipple drinkers and to accelerate the suspension of dehydration of chickens, they draw attention by lighting directly water drops on nipples, including the number of light of different colors in a stable and differentiated modes. This method is carried out by a device (an activator of curiosity) consisting of a power supply unit, a dimmer and a luminous element. To activate the consumption of water by chickens, the device is installed on the drinker so that the luminous element is close to a hanging drop of water on the nipple.
Activation of water consumption by chickens is carried out on the first day after planting chickens for growing.
A method of activating water consumption by chickens under the conditions of using nipple drinkers involves attracting chickens to water droplets that hang on the nipples, illuminating them with mixed light and, in addition, on separate nipples, the droplets are highlighted in red, orange, yellow or green in a stable or differentiated mode.
