Abstract

FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to agricultural machinery. The purpose of the invention is to increase productivity and improve soil separation. The invention makes it possible to increase the productivity of a potato harvester, improve soil separation, reduce damage and loss of tubers. The potato digger includes excavating blades 1, a bar-type elevator 2, a drum 3 with an elastic surface, a transverse conveyor 4, a frame 5 and an inclined grate with sparsely arranged rods. The potato digger is mounted on the hinged system 7 of the tractor. The invention relates to agricultural machinery and can be used in machines for harvesting potatoes and root crops.

The purpose of the invention is to increase productivity and improve soil separation.

Figure 1 shows the proposed potato digger; figure 2 - the same, front view.

The potato digger includes a digging up plowshare 1, a bar-type elevator 2, a drum with an elastic surface 3, a cross conveyor4, a frame 5 and an inclined grate with bars sparsely spaced 6. The potato digger is hung at three points on the mounted system 7 of the tractor.

Potato maker works as follows.

Ploughshare 1 digs up potato wads and transfers them to the bar elevator 2. It partially weeds out the soil, and the tubers, unfinished soil and vegetation are transported by the bar elevator 2 and enter under the rotating drum 3. When moving under the drum 3, the soil separates intensively due to action of centrifugal forces. At the top of the drum, 3 tubers with non-undissolved impurities come down from it and enter the transverse conveyor 4, which lays them on the field. From the conveyor, 4 tubers with tops are fed to the inclined grid 6 with bars seldom arranged apart. The tubers fall through the grid 6 and lie on the field. The plant comes along the inclined grid to the side and is placed in a separate roll.
