Abstract
This invention relates to the flotation concentration of minerals, in particular to the measurement of pulp aeration, and can be used in the chemical and biological industry. The aim of the invention is to improve the accuracy and reduce the complexity of the measurements, as well as expanding the scope. The measuring chamber 1 is immersed in the pulp through the foam layer by the handle 8. Until the chamber 1 is balanced with the tube 2 and the control unit 6 in the pulp 11, the valve-valve 10 covers the orifice of the throttling hole 3 and the air does not leak from the cavity of the chamber 1. Upon further lowering of the handle 8, a chamber with a tube emerges and a pair of nozzle-flaps opens, accompanied by throttling the air from chamber 1 and replenishing it due to aeration. As the chamber 1 is immersed, it is filled with pulp until the electrode 5 is touched by the pulp. The time interval between the removal of the knob 8 from the throttling hole 3 until the pulp electrode 5 touches the pulp aeration rate. 1 il.

Целью измерени вл етс повышение точности и снижение трудоемкости измерений , а также расширение области применени .The purpose of the measurement is to improve the accuracy and reduce the complexity of the measurements, as well as to expand the scope.
The drawing shows a device implementing the method.
It contains a measuring chamber 1, open at the bottom along the cross section of Si, and at the top communicating through a rigid tube 2 with a throttling hole 3 and with the atmosphere. The outer 4 and inner 5 electrodes connected to the block 6 of the control circuit of the electrode circuit through the pulp acting on the light indicator 7 (maybe audible) limit the controlled volume of the metering chamber from above across the cross section S2 of the inner electrode 5 of the pulp. The tube camera freely moves relative to the handle 8 vertically with minimal friction due to rolling friction performed by the rollers 9. The handle 8 at the top has a protrusion-ring 10c with a rubber gasket acting as a flap for

12.throttling hole, ending in the form of a nozzle, covered with a rubber ring gasket when the measuring chamber hangs with a tube on the handle. The device begins to work when it is immersed in aerated pulp 11 through a layer of foam 12.
The device works as follows. The device is immersed vertically in the pulp by the handle 8 through the foam layer. Until equilibration of chamber 1 with tube 2 and control unit 6 in pulp 11, valve-valve 10 covers the orifice of the throttling hole 3 and air does not leak from the cavity of the chamber, the slurry is squeezed at the level of cross section S1. Upon further lowering of the handle 8, the chamber with a tube emerges due to the balancing of the weight by the pushing force from the pulp side, and a nozzle-flap pair opens, accompanied by throttling the air from the chamber cavity and replenishing it in the chamber due to aeration. Due to the prevalence of flow rate over the air inflow, the measuring chamber into the pulp occurs while simultaneously filling it with pulp. When the internal electrode 5 touches the pulp, the circuit between the electrodes closes, this is triggered by the circuit 6 controlling the circuit closure and flashing of the light indicator 7. The time interval from the moment of tearing the knob 8 from the throttling hole 3 until the flashing of the light indicator 7 and the degree of aeration pulp. Flashing the indicator is a signal to complete the measurement process, as well as a signal to remove the device from the pulp.
The use of the method and device allows to increase the efficiency of flotation process control by maintaining the necessary air flow in the flotation machine.
