Description
5The invention relates to the measurement of gas flow and liquids and can be used to measure flow mainly in pipelines of small diameter. 5
The purpose of the invention is to increase sensitivity.
The sensor of the heat flow meter, enclosed in a casing 1, contains a U-shaped measuring pipe 2 having a fitting for connecting to the path of the medium, the flow rate of which is measured, which is pinched in the frame 3 to ensure structural rigidity. Outside the frame 3, in a straight section of the U-shaped measuring pipe 15 of the wire 2, an electric heater 4 is placed. The sensitive element 5 mounted on the U-shaped pipe is made in the form of a winding of thermoelectrode material. covering both straight sections 20 of the U-shaped pipeline, half of which, up to the plane drawn through the axis of the straight sections of the U-shaped pipe, is coated with a second thermoelectrode material, which forms a differential hyperthermocouple with winding material 25, the junctions of which are located on the surface of the straight sections of U- shaped pipeline.
The device operates as follows.
The medium, the flow rate of which is measured in a U-shaped measuring pipe 2, washes the wall of the pipeline on which the cold junctions of the differential hyperthermocouple 5 are located, is heated by heat from the electric heater 4 and washes the wall of the U-shaped measuring piping 2, on which the hot junctions of the differential 40 hyperthermocouple are located 5. As a result of the temperature difference between the medium before and after the heater, a differential thermoelectric power is generated in the differential hyperthermoc 5, which enters the secondary device, which 45 can serve as Po- millivoltmeter or potentiometer.
As a sensitive element of the sensor, for example, a copper tube with an outer diameter of 4 mm and a wall thickness of 1 mm is used. On the tube, grooves are cut with a pitch of 0.2 mm, after which it is oxidized for 0.5-1 hours in a solution of the following composition, g / l:
6Potassium Sulfur 6
20Ammonium Chloride 20
After drying, a constantan wire 0.1 mm in diameter is wound into the grooves in the grooves, after which the tube is bent in the form of a U-specimen and frames are installed to give structural rigidity. A constantan wire 0.1 mm in diameter is wound onto the measuring sections into grooves coated with an oxide layer. After fixing the discharge electrodes, half of the wound constantan (along the plane of the axes of the U-shaped element of the sensor) is covered with 2-3 layers of electrical insulating varnish. The remaining unprotected part of the hyperthermocouple is coated with copper in a solution of the following composition, g:
