Изобретение относитс  к гетероциклическим соединени м, в частности к 3-амино2-бензил-4- (1-метилбензимидазол-2-ил)-7- нитро-1(2Н)изохинолону как реагенту дл  фотометрического определени  меди, что может быть использовано в аналитической химии. Цель - создание способа получени  нового более эффективного соединени  указанного класса. Синтез ведут реакцией 12 метил-8-нитро-11-цианобензимидазоло 1,2-Ь изохинолона-6 с бензиламином в ди- метилформамиде в присутствии К2СОз при кипении с последующей обработкой реакционной смеси водой и уксусной кислотой. Выход 27%, т. пл. 311°С. брутто-ф-ла .С24Нч9№Оз.
