Abstract
The invention relates to the mining industry. It can be used for mechanical crushing, but also for grinding quartz-containing minerals and minerals. The purpose of the invention is to reduce energy intensity and increase the intensity of crushing. The method of destroying quartz-containing rocks includes mechanical stress and is that each piece of rock to be destroyed creates a state of embrittlement by the combined effect of mechanical load and an UHF electric field applied with a piece of rock to be destroyed, placing them in such a way that its entire volume is exposed to the UHF electric field at the moment application to it of mechanical load.
Description
The invention relates to the physics of crushing of rocks, in particular, to the combined physico-mechanical methods of crushing hard rocks, and can be used in the mining industry for mechanical crushing and grinding of quartz-containing minerals, such as iron ores.
The purpose of the invention is to reduce energy consumption and increase the intensity of crushing.
The essence of the method is as follows.
В кварцсодержащей породе возникает сложное напр женное состо ние за счет наложени напр жений, вызванных механической нагрузкой , и знакопеременных напр жений, обусловленных обратным пьезоэффектом кварца, содержащегос в разрушаемой породе .On each destructible separate quartz-containing rock on both sides of its contact with the performers transmitting mechanical stress, radiators specially adapted for this purpose are placed. At the moment of applying a mechanical load to the emitters, the electric field is supplied to an ultrahigh frequency, thus exposing the entire volume of the breaking apart separately to the joint effect of these two types of loading. In the quartz rock, a complex stress state arises due to the superimposition of stresses caused by mechanical stress and alternating stresses caused by the inverse piezoelectric effect of the quartz contained in the rock to be destroyed.
IThe action of the electric field of ultra-high frequency on the rock occurs in a short time, equal to the time of its destruction by mechanical loading. Temperature stresses during this period cannot be established, which has been proven experimentally. For samples made of iron ore and granite, when a mechanical load is applied, a UHF electric field of small power (25 and 40W) i is applied in this way, When I

This destructive mechanical load is 50-60% of the limit for identical samples destroyed only by mechanical means. The destruction itself is characterized by intensive grinding throughout the volume, i.e. the entrenchment of quartz-containing rocks is provided.
е. заThe application of the invention allows to significantly improve the technical and economic indicators of the extraction and processing of quartz-containing minerals by improving the quality of their fragmentation to a level that ensures a reduction in the total number of consecutive stages of mechanical fragmentation and grinding, i.e. behind
