Abstract
The invention relates to soldering and can be used to solder printed circuit boards with a wave of molten solder. The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of the solder joints and protect the thermosensitive elements from overheating. The device comprises a bath with a pump for molten solder, a nozzle formed with front and rear extensions. The latter are installed with the possibility of rotation around the horizontal axis. The extension axes are located below the nozzle edge, while the front extension axis is below the rear extension axis, which makes it possible to optimize the process of heating the printed circuit board before soldering and the process of detaching the molten solder from the soldered zones of the printed circuit board, as well as significantly reduce the number of defective rations. 1 il.
Description
Изобретение относитс к пайке и может быть использовано дл пайки печатных плат волной расплавленного припо .The invention relates to soldering and can be used to solder printed circuit boards with a wave of molten solder.
The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of the paired joints and protect the thermosensitive elements from overheating.
The drawing shows the proposed device.
The device comprises a reservoir 1 in which there is a pump for supplying solder (not shown), a nozzle 2 with a pivotally mounted front extension 3 and a rear extension 4. A printed circuit board is shown above the solder wave.
The device works in the following way.
The printed circuit board is fed to the edge of the front extension 3, through which melted solder flows. The front extension is installed so that between the bottom surface of the printed circuit board and the top surface of the flowing solder there is a gap of 6-7 mm. The circuit board, moving towards the nozzle 2 above the surface of the molten solder, gradually heats up without touching the solder. Such heating allows the conductors (tracks) located on the printed circuit board to warm up and the terminals of the attached radio elements to a temperature close to the temperature of the molten solder, temperature-sensitive elements (semiconductors, microcircuits, etc.) not overheating. The printed circuit board gradually heats up, as a result of which thermal shock does not occur. The heating mode is determined by the position of the front extension by turning it about the horizontal axis. The heated printed circuit board enters the crest of the solder wave, where the soldering occurs (the connection of the conductors of the board with the terminals of the elements).
Moving further, the printed circuit board extends beyond the edge of the solder wave crest, the solder wave surface detaches from the surface of the printed circuit board. With the help of the rear extension 4, the optimum mode of separation and cooling of the soldering zones is set.
