Abstract
п. This invention relates to an EHF technique and can be used in dielectric waveguide devices. The goal is to reduce the size. The notch filter consists of a dielectric waveguide (DW) 1 and a resonant element (RE) 2, made in the form of a hollow metal cylinder with a longitudinal slit 3. Description
$The invention relates to EHF technology and can be used in frequency-selective devices based on dielectric waveguides. $
The purpose of the invention is the reduction in size and the possibility of tuning the frequency and depth of the notch.
Figs. 1 and 2 show projections; q l · notch filter.
The notch filter consists of di! an electric waveguide 1 and a resonant element 2 made in the form of a hollow metal cylinder 15 ra with a longitudinal slot 3. The resonant element 2 can be mounted rotatably around its axis.
The notch filter works barely 20! blowing way.
An electromagnetic wave propagates along the dielectric waveguide 1 'with a polarization of the electric field vector perpendicular to the axis 25 of the resonant element 2. At the resonance; At a frequency in the resonant element \ {2 with a longitudinal slit 3, a Helmholtz-type oscillation is excited, and due to the efficient scattering of the energy of the incident wave, a signal of this frequency is rejected. Is the resonant frequency f related to the parameters of the mouth? the ratio
