Abstract
The invention relates to gas-shielded welding technology and can be used in various engineering industries. The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of the weld by improving its protection during the welding process. Gas protection is formed from two gas streams supplied to the welding zone, of which additional (external) is fed coaxially with the electrode, perpendicular to the surface being welded, and the main stream is directed at an angle of 16-20 ° to the additional one in the direction to the weld pool. Such a gas supply contributes to the stable maintenance of a thin film of a turbulent layer on the surface of the main flow, which prevents air from being sucked into the arc burning zone. The method allows welding seams with a difficult cut, for example, to correct casting defects, since The quality of seam protection depends only on the angle between the main and additional threads and does not depend on the shape and angle of the groove. 1 il.
Description
The invention relates to the field of welding and can be used when welding parts with a different, including complex, shape of a weld, for example, when welding defects cast by the electric arc method.
The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of the weld made by welding in an environment of protective gases with double gas protection.
The drawing shows the implementation of the method
The method is carried out as follows.
The gas stream supplied through pipe 1 in the arc zone is divided into main 2 and additional 3 streams. The additional flow is provided coaxially with the electrode 4 (perpendicular to the surface being welded), and the main flow is directed at an angle of 16-20 ° to the additional one in the direction to the weld pool.
The supply of additional protective gas flow perpendicular to the surface of the parts to be welded prevents air from entering the zone of cooling metal of the weld. The supply of the main flow of protective gas at an angle of 16-20 ° to the additional contributes to the stable maintenance of a thin film of the turbulent layer on the surface of the main flow of protective gas. This film of the turbulent layer interferes with the flow of air from the atmosphere into the arc burning zone and onto the surface of the weld pool. This allows welding seams with complex cutting, such as casting defects, since the quality of protection of the weld in the proposed method depends only on the angle between the main and additional flows and does not depend on the shape and angle of the cut. Давление газа в основном потоке составл ет 0,5 Па, а в дополнительном 0,1 Па.protective gas to the additional gas at an angle of less than 16 ° or more than 20 °, a film of the turbulent layer is destroyed on the surface of the main flow of protective gas. The entire main flow of protective gas acquires a turbulent motion both on its surface and inside it. This leads to air leakage toward the arc and the surface of the weld pool. As a result, the quality of the weld is sharply deteriorated. Example. During the cooking defects cast on plates of steel grade St.20L thickness of 50 mm. It is produced by cutting shrink holes for welding by pneumatic grinding machines with grinding carborundum grinding wheels. The dimensions of the plates are 500X500 mm. The dimensions of the weld grooves are from 300 to 100 mm wide and from 30 to 5 mm deep. Welding is carried out with one mechanism simultaneously feeding three electrode wires of the mark Sv-O8G2S with a diameter of 2 mm with a distance between the axes of the adjacent wires 5 mm. Wire feed speed 110 m / h Welding mode: current 450-500 A, voltage 48-50 V Gas consumption CO2 2 l / s. The gas is supplied through a supply tube and is divided into two streams, the main and the additional, located one to the other at an angle of 16-20 °. The gas pressure in the main stream is 0.5 Pa, and in the additional 0.1 Pa.
The method allows welding seams with complex cutting, such as casting defects, since the quality of protection of the weld in it depends only on the angle between the main and additional 0 threads and does not depend on the shape and angle of the groove, which improves the quality of the metal in shrinkable grooves. shells castings.
