Abstract
The invention relates to the production of lubricants, in particular, used in the friction units of machines and mechanisms operating under conditions of high contact loads. The goal is to increase anti-wear and anti-friction properties. Lubricants are obtained from polymer powder, which is subsequently metallized with copper and tin at a tin content in the metal coating of 10-90 wt.% And the total amount of deposited metals on the surface of the polymer particles equal to 30-50% by weight of the polymer. Then, the obtained metal polymer powder is treated with a surfactant — 10–30% aqueous solution of petroleum sulfonic acids and injected into a soapy plastic lubricant in an amount of 1–5 wt.%. The use of the lubricant obtained allows a 1.5-2.5 fold decrease in the wear rate of the rubbing surfaces and a 1.5-1.7 fold friction loss, which leads to an extension of the service life of the friction units, a reduction in the cost of mechanical and electrical energy, and an increase in Efficiency 2 tab.

The best result in terms of anti-wear and anti-friction properties is obtained if the polymer is metallized by means of chemical reduction from metal-containing salts from solutions. In this case, layers of chemically pure metals, highly active in the friction zone, are formed on the surface of the polymer powder (the dispersion of the initial powders is proposed in the range of about 20 to 100 microns).
Example. Polyethylene powder (10 g) is coated with a layer of copper by chemical reduction from a solution, and the copper content is 20% of the mass of the metallized powder. Then the copper-coated polyethylene powder is coated with a tin layer by the method of chemical reduction until the tin content in the metal coating is
