<p> The method is as follows. - 15 </ p>
<p> When sinking a horizontal mine 1 with a cross section of width b and height H over the shock-hazardous section of the mountain massif, the direction of the largest heights of stresses b <max> max </ sub> is determined (figure 1). Establish the distance b e </ sub> and the required depth of the wedge-shaped cavity (slit) 4 for unloading the roof of the current output from stresses, for example, > 5 measures, by the method of electrical sounding. To do this, at a distance of 1.5b from the face, operational electrical sounding of the roof rocks is made, for example, a four-electrode installation according to FIG. 4, using the method of apparent electrical resistivity. </ P>

<p> Cavities are equal to 1.5 3 </ sub>. Then determine the minimum from the roof dd generation height b, the laying of the leading wells 2 and their rational diameter and mass of the explosive charge by 1 l.m. wells, based on the strength of the rocks and the distance between the well and the point d ^ intersection of the directions of action of the charges. Take the distance between the wells based on the conditions of the rules of drilling and blasting operations. Leading wells are drilled to a depth of three tunneling cycles. Then drilled holes 3 for blasting rock mass to the depth of the cycle in the usual manner. In wells 2 'explosive charges are placed in shells 5 with · $ slits 6.
