Abstract
п. The invention relates to medicine, and more specifically to ophthalmology, and can be used in the implantation of an artificial eye lens. The purpose of the invention is to reduce postoperative complications. The artificial lens of the eye contains the optical part and supporting elements, covered with several layers of the proteolytic enzyme. The method of manufacturing the lens involves pressing the optical part and fixing the support elements in the latter. The lens is immersed 3–7 times for 10–30 minutes in a 0.5–10% solution of the proteo- logical enzyme at a temperature of 0–2 ° C, followed by drying the lens at 2–37 ° C. 1 hp f-ly.
Description
The invention relates to medicine, and more specifically to ophthalmology, and can be used in the implantation of an artificial eye lens.
The aim of the invention is to reduce postoperative complications.
The proposed method is carried out as follows.
After pressing the lens and attaching the supporting elements and treating with 10% sodium hydroxide solution for 15-30 minutes (to remove mechanical impurities from the surface), the artificial lens of the eye is washed with distilled water and dried in air. Then the lens is placed in a 0.5-10% solution of the enzyme at a temperature of 0-2 ° C (ice bath) for 10-30 minutes. The lens is removed and dried in air at a temperature of 2-37 ° C for 15-30 minutes (until complete drying). Then the soaking-drying procedure is repeated 2-6 times more. In the control sample of the lens

Обработанные ферментом хрусталики хран т вобыч- ны контейнерах при комнатной температуре в светонепроницаемых футл рах.(one of a series of 10) determine the content and activity of the enzyme. Enzyme-treated lenses are stored in containers at room temperature in opaque shells.
The temperature of the enzyme solution cannot be selected below 0 ° C, otherwise the landing of the enzyme is difficult. At temperatures above 2CC, the activity of planting the enzyme decreases. The concentration of the enzyme solution cannot be less than 0.5%, since otherwise the coating layer may be uneven (intermittent). Over 10% saturation occurs, the activity does not increase. The time of immersion of the lens in the enzyme can not be selected less than 10 minutes, since the landing is insufficient. Over 30 minutes further landing does not increase the activity of the layer. The drying temperature cannot be less than 2CC, because the drying process is too slow. Over 37 ° C denaturation of the enzyme occurs. Drying time is not

I.less than 15 minutes can be chosen, since otherwise no complete drying is achieved. Over 30 minutes further drying does not make sense. The number of dives should be at least 3., as the enzyme is rapidly washed out. The artificial lens of the eye is grasped with Binchorst modified tweezers at the equator of the optical zone, the surgeon lifts the cornea with his left hand, and turns the right back alternate for the iris 3 with the back handles. 6–7 corneal scleral sutures are applied to the wound, the anterior chamber is reconstituted with saline to normal depth, a continuous suture is applied to the conjunctiva: Example I.
