Изобретение относитс  к электромашиностроению, а именно к технологии изготовлени  обмоток электрических машин и может быть использовано при изолировании ленточным материалом замкнутых катушек с узким и длинным отверсти ми. Целью изобретени   вл етс  повышение производительности. Дл  этого изол ционную ленту 6 складывают пополам и к середине прикрепл ют челнок 3. Ветви сложенной пополам ленты располагают на боковых сторонах катушки, образу  при этом свободные концы 8. Намотку изол ционной ленты осуществл ют путем прот гивани  середины ленты в отверстие катушки с укладкой ветвей ленты на стороны катушки с периодическим поворотом середины ленты в плоскости, перпендикул рной плоскости катушки.
