Abstract
FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, production of hard-alloy laminated composite materials functioning under abrasive wear conditions. SUBSTANCE: method involves obtaining sintered hard alloy base; applying layers of coatings from high-melting point compounds of metals of 1V-V1a groups of periodic system by chemical deposition from gas-vapor phase. When first (or single) layer with the thickness of 0.5-1.0 micron is applied, metalloid source is periodically replaced by other source. The process is conducted for time interval equal to 8-10% of that required for deposition of the first layer. EFFECT: increased working strength of composite material. 1 tbl
