Abstract
This invention relates to a process for the processing of phosphoric sludge to thermal phosphoric acid. The aim of the invention is to reduce the content of the oxidized phosphorus in the product. The method consists in mixing phosphorus sludge with monoalkyl ethers of polyethylene glycol OP-7 or OP-10, burning the sludge followed by hydration of phosphoric anhydride. While OP-7 or OP-10 serves in the amount of 20-50 g per 50 tons of sludge. 1 tab.

(57) The invention relates to a technology for the processing of phosphoric sludge to thermal phosphoric acid. The aim of the invention is to reduce the content of the oxidized phosphorus in the product. The method consists in mixing phosphorus sludge with mono-alkyl esters and polyethylene glycol 011-7 or OP-10, burning the sludge followed by hydration of the phosphoric anhydride. While OP-7 or OP-10 serves in the amount of 20-50 g per 50 tons of sludge. 1 tab.
This invention relates to a process for the processing of a phosphorus ass produced by the production of phosphorus by the electrothermal method, to thermally phosphoric acid.
The aim of the invention is to reduce the content of the oxidized phosphorus in the product.
Example. 50 tons of sludge containing 56% P, 6.5% solids and 37.5% water are poured into a volume of 32 m and 20 g of OP-10 is added to it in a 1% aqueous solution (2.0 l) The mixture is stirred and fed for incineration. Burning occurs smoothly without pulsations. Exhaust gases containing phosphoric anhydride hydrate OP-10 as a surfactant, displace structural moisture from the sludge, making the latter lightly mobile and combustible. Phosphoric sludges do not clog the nozzle, are easy to transport, it is well-worn. Sludge incineration results with additive
