Abstract

The invention relates to the drying of gases. To reduce drying, a birch bark or pine bark with a particle size of up to 5 mm and a moisture content of 1–5% is used as a sorbent for moisture vapor. 3 tab.

Description

The invention relates to the field of gas drying and can be used in the chemical, petrochemical, woodworking and other industries.

The aim of the invention is to reduce the cost of the process while maintaining the sorption capacity of the absorber at a high level.

1-5%.Example. The bark of birch and pine is crushed to a particle size (sawdust) of no more than 5 mm and dried to a moisture content of 1-5%.

A portion of the adsorbent layer in one grain, is placed in a cup with a bottom, made of metal mesh. The adsorbent is maintained under such conditions during the day.

1.The results of the limiting values of ad-, sorption of various adsorbents for water vapor are given in table. one.

2.The kinetics of adsorption of water vapor for bark of various fractions and rocks are presented in table. 2

The regeneration of the proposed adsorbent is carried out at a temperature. From the results of Table 3, it can be seen that after 30 minutes more than 90% of the water from the absorbent is removed.
