Abstract
The invention relates to metallurgy, mainly to the abrasive and refractory industries. The aim of the invention is to increase the yield of granules and to simplify the production of compact abrasive or refractory material from the granules by coating silicon oxide on their surface. For this, the melt stream is dispersed by a stream of compressed air into which silicone fluid is introduced. According to spectral analysis, the granules from the surface are enriched with silicon oxide. The yield of granules increased from 76 to 84% compared with the prototype. The strength of silicon carbide and spherocorundum abrasive bars increases by 16%. 2 tab.
Description
The invention relates to metallurgy, primarily to the abrasive and refractory industry, and can be used in the preparation of granulated alumina, including hollow, coated with a film.
Дель изобретени - повышение выхода годных гранул и упрощение получени из гранул компактного абразивного или огнеупорного материала за счет нанесени на их поверхность покрыти оксида кремни .The purpose of the invention is to increase the yield of suitable granules and simplify the production of compact abrasive or refractory material from the granules by coating silicon oxide on their surface.
To coat the granules according to the proposed method, an NGL-type liquid containing silicon oxide, which forms a coating, is used.
To obtain granules according to the proposed method, alumina is melted in
дуговой электропечи и струю сливаемого расплава диспергируют потоком воздуха или другого газа с введенной в него жидкостью, котора содержит соединение кремни .The electric arc furnace and the stream of the melt being poured are dispersed by a stream of air or another gas with a liquid introduced into it, which contains a silicon compound.
1 (разница содержани оксида кремни до и после обработки в плавиковой кислоте обусловлена наличием покрыти ) .From the obtained material granules, an average sample is taken, which is analyzed by the spectral method. The results are presented in table. 1 (the difference in silica content before and after treatment in hydrofluoric acid is due to the presence of a coating).
The yield of granules is equal to the ratio of round undeformed granules to the total number of granules,
2.Pellets are prepared from granules and carbide. The grains are prepared in Table 2.
