Description

The radio-sounder shells used for the study of the upper layers of the atmosphere (}) are made of latexes, for example chloroprene. In doing so, they are tested for rupture with compressed air in a device including an air duct, a flow meter, a blower and a pressure gauge in communication with the shell cavity (see, for example, ed. St. 126638, Cl. 42e, 29 of 1960).

In contrast to the above, the described device is equipped with a pressure drop alarm device, a self-measuring pressure gauge, a solenoid valve and an air pressure regulator, which allows an automatic fixation process and obtains more accurate results for determining the breaking characteristics.

The drawing shows a diagram of the device.

Устройство снабжено электромагнитным клапаном 6 и регул тором 7 давлени  воздуха, фильтром 8 и кнопкой 9 управлени .The device includes an air pipe 1, a flow meter 2, a pressure alarm 3, a pressure drop, a self-feeding pressure gauge 4 mounted on a pipe 5 connecting the casing A to the alarm 3. The device is equipped with an electromagnetic valve 6 and an air pressure regulator 7, a filter 8 and a control button 9.

6.At the beginning of the test, the control button 9 is activated, which closes the circuit of the solenoid valve 6. The latter opens and the compressed air enters the cavity A of the envelope through the air duct 7 through the pressure regulator 7 and the filter 8. The amount of air entering the envelope is fixed by the flow meter 2 for test The air pressure in the cavity L is monitored by the pressure indicator 3. The pressure drop and the self-tapping pressure gauge 4 registering its change. The rupture of the casing causes a drop in air pressure in the impulse line of the detector 3 and the overlap of the air line / solenoid valve 6.
