Abstract
The invention relates to the field of testing building materials, namely to the evaluation of their behavior under loads. The purpose of the invention is to simplify the definition of relaxation. The method is carried out as follows. The non-destructive method is used to determine the modulus of elasticity of the sample of the material under investigation, after which several loads are applied to the sample at different, but constant, strain rates within each load. At each loading, the rate of voltage rise in the samples is recorded. The tests begin with a high strain rate with a decrease in it at each subsequent loading in a certain proportion and continue until a decrease in the rate of stress growth recorded at these strain rates begins to occur in the same proportion. For the last strain rate, the corresponding voltage growth rate in the sample is established, and a function of the relaxation rate and the change in stresses with time are calculated from their values.

In addition, at each loading, the growth of stresses b in the sample in time t is recorded. Testing begins with a high strain rate, for example, at a speed of 2.5 mm / min with a decrease in it at each subsequent loading in a certain proportion, for example, twice. The loads are continued until the same time when the stress rate recorded at these strain rates begins to decrease in the same proportion, after which the last strain rate is set to the corresponding voltage rate of the sample.
