Abstract
1 з.н. The invention relates to the preparation of concentrated substances and can be used to concentrate dilute solutions of sulfuric acid. The goal is to make the process cheaper. The essence of the invention is that a dilute solution of 55 g / l of sulfuric acid is passed from top to bottom through a column filled with cationite containing sulfuric acid with a concentration of 311 g / l in the intergranular space, and from below a solution of sulfuric acid with a concentration of 311 g / l is produced, containing up to 65% sulfuric acid from a dilute solution. Tsrich the boiled out solution is taken in a volume ratio of 0.04-0.40 to the volume of the cation exchanger. 1 zn f-ly, 1 tab.
Description
The invention relates to methods for the concentration of dilute sulfuric acid and can be used in the processes of concentration and utilization of sulfuric acid from the relevant chemistry and metallurgy industries.
The purpose of the invention is to reduce the cost of concentrating dilute solutions of sulfuric acid.
Example. Concentration of dilute solutions of sulfuric acid.
For the tests, a column loaded with cation exchanger KU-2 (the height of the cation exchanger layer is 4 m) and filled with a solution of 311.1-313.6 g / l of sulfuric acid is used. In experiment 1, a solution of 312.94 g / l of sulfuric acid is displaced from the column with water, in subsequent experiments. Solutions with a given concentration of sulfuric acid 311.1-313.6 g / l are displaced from the column with a diluted solution of 55 g / l of sulfuric acid in the amount of 0.04-0.4 in relation to the volume of the cation exchanger from top to bottom, then water is supplied. At the exit from the column, a solution is collected with a given concentration, corresponding to the volume of sulfuric acid solution in the column, then the solution obtained in the concentration process with a given concentration of sulfuric acid and a diluted mixing zone solution. The samples determine the content of sulfuric acid, calculate its distribution in the concentrated and diluted solution, the cost of the concentration process of the obtained diluted acid of the mixing zone by the evaporation method and the rate of reduction of the concentration process per 1 ton of sulfuric acid in the initial dilute solutions.
The results are presented in the table.
2-6).The volume of solutions with a given concentration, obtained in the process of concentration, is determined by the difference of the volumes of the concentrated solution collected from the column in experiments 2-6 and the concentrated solution initially placed in the column (experiment 1). The parameters of the latter are not included in the table, since they correspond to the parameters given in the acid concentration process (the first sample at the exit from the column in experiments 2-6).
