This invention relates to a glass industry and can be used in glass factories for cutting glass.
The purpose of the invention is to intensify the cutting process and improve the quality of the cut.
1.Fig, 1 shows a glass cutting device; in fig. 2 and 3 - node I in FIG. 1.
7.The glass ribbon 1 is placed on the rollers of the roller table 2. A beam 3 is located above the glass ribbon under the angle to the latter, along the guide of which the carriage 4 is moved.
15,The holder (body) consists of two elements 8 and 9, connected by an electrical insulating insert 10 with screws 11. The element 9 of the holder is connected by an electrical wire 12 to a current source 13, the second source terminal is connected to the roller of the roller table 2, To roller 7 fluid 14 is supplied through tube 14,
10- 15%,When cutting a ribbon of hot glass (400–700 ° C), aqueous electrolyte solutions are used as a splitting s / liquid. The wedging fluid is supplied to the zone of contact of the solar 7 with glass 1 "At the moment of the formation of a crack due to the vacuum of capillary forces, the liquid falls into the crack, wedges it and increases the nl" length of the crack by 10-15%
In the proposed method, cutting intensification is provided by supplying an electrical potential to an electrochemical system of a cutting roller - a propping liquid - glass. In this case, the cutting takes place in an electric field, which contributes to the forced filling of the forming crack with a proppant. To do this, element 9 and roller 7 are supplied with electric voltage from current source 13,
В пульсирующем электрическом поле ж щкость приходит в непрерывное движение , что усиливает эффект расклини- вш№ (электрогидравлический эффект).In a pulsating electric field, the bladder comes in continuous motion, which enhances the wedging effect (electro-hydraulic effect).
Example 1 window glass is subjected to cutting at 630 C with a hard-alloy roller of the type VKZ with a sharpening angle of 130 °, load on the roller 60 Not using a propping fluid - 10% water

The depth of the crack in the glass with these cut parameters is 0.45-0.55 mm. When a positive potential of 9.5 V is applied to the cutting roller, the depth of the crack increases to 0.6-0.65 mm. As a result, the quality of the cutting edge (reduction of chips) is improved and the force of the fragment is reduced.
8-10%.Example 2 When a positive rectangular impulse voltage of 200 B is applied to the same roller, with a pulse width of 0.0 ° C, the depth of the crack increases from 0.45-0.55 to 0.7-0.075 mm. This is expressed in an increase in the yield of suitable products by 8-10%.
Example 3. While maintaining the same initial cutting conditions (see Example I), distilled process water is used as a propping fluid (electrical conductivity up to 5-10). By applying a working voltage of 30 kV to the cutting roller, energy is instantaneously (10-100 µs) due to a discharge in a liquid (water). During discharge, a plasma channel with a temperature of 15–30 thousand degrees is formed. In the channel with a small cross section, there is an intense local heating of the liquid. At the same time, the energy of superheated ionized gas and steam is concentrated in it. The rapid local expansion of the discharge channel in the form of a vapor-gas cavity (posyr) in the glass trithene under the action of internal pressure creates in the surrounding, incompressible medium, compression waves and pulses
,.pressures up to 500 MPa, as a result of which the crack sharply grows deep into the glass, increasing to 50% in length. As a result of such an intensified cutting of glass fragments, the quality of glassware is improved after quenching improves.
