Description
Radio telescopes with an automatically controlled reflector surface consisting of moving shields located on the radio telescope support structures are known. The main difficulty encountered in the construction of modern radio telescopes is the need to ensure the required accuracy of the reflector surface and to correct the position of the moving shields.
менты, закрепленные на фиксированных точках, включают механизм перемещени .The proposed radio telescope differs from the known ones in that it allows automatic adjustment of the position of the moving shields and ensures high accuracy of the reflector surface. This is achieved by using a source of light rays that are constantly directed with the help of lenses at fixed points on the theoretical surface of the radio telescope. If the surface of the reflector is distorted, the photoelectric elements attached to fixed points include a movement mechanism.
FIG. 1 shows (in plan) the layout of the shields; in fig. 2 is a diagram of the direction of rays to fixed points.
3.The reflector of the radio telescope is made of separate, independent, automatically controlled during operation of the shields 1. The panel has a group of two photocells, the installation locations of the photoelectric cells are indicated by the number 2. This group of photoelectric cells gives a signal for aligning the intersection unit of all the shields of a given point, mounted on the support plate, adjustable by a special movement mechanism, activated depending on the photocell signal. The signal center controlling the movement mechanism is located at point 3.
The automatic adjustment of the position of the movable shields, on which the accuracy of the surface of the reflector depends, is performed as follows. The light beams from the special camera 4 through the length 11 focal lenses 5 are directed to the given points 6 of the radio telescope's surface from each of these fixed points of the theoretical surface of the radio telescope in the direction of the normal

The spectrum of the light beam must be chosen so that the external signals of solar and other radiation reflected from the surface are different from that emitted from camera 4, and the movement mechanism would work from it.
