Abstract
(ЛThis invention relates to histology. The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of cuts. The biological material is fixed in formalin, dehydrated in increasing concentrations of ethyl alcohol, followed by impregnation in a medium containing xylene, cedar balsam and castor oil. Based on this mixture, a mixture of A and B is prepared. Blend A contains 80% of chemically pure acetone and 20% of the initial mixture. Mixture B consists of 20% acetone and 80% of the initial mixture. Treat the tissues in ethyl alcohol for 1-5 hours. Transfer the material in 2 portions of the mixture Aive 2 portions of the mixture B. Then infiltrate in 6 portions of paraffin 56-60 ° C for 25-30 minutes each. The method allows to reduce the time required to obtain paraffin blocks. (L
Description
The invention relates to medicine and biology.
The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of the cuts by eliminating the deforming effect of xylene.
The method is carried out as follows.
The biological material is fixed in i acTBOpe formalin $, then dehydrated in increasing concentrations of ethyl alcohol, followed by feeding in a medium containing xylene, cedar or fir balsam and caster oil in a ratio of 90-110, 9-11, 14-16, respectively . Based on this mixture, mixtures A and B are prepared. Mixture A contains 80% chemically pure acetone and 20% of the initial mixture. Mixture B consists of 20% acetone and 80% of the initial mixture. Treat the tissue pieces in ethyl alcohols 96, using two portions of the latter, with a total duration of 1-5 hours. Transfer the material in 2 portions of mixture A (1.5 to 3 hours each) and in 2 portions of mixture B jCno 1.5- 2 hours each). Then impregnation is carried out in 6 portions at 56-60 ° C for 25-30 minutes in each
