23.It is connected (for example, by means of a screw pair) with a glass 13, having drain holes 14. The inner surface of the lower part of the glass 13 slides on the outer surface of the upper part of the drain tube 15. The movable glass 13 with the drain tube 15 forms a level-keeping device. Branch 16 of the V-shaped vessel 1, in which the leveling device is located, is filled with controlled liquid 17 through fitting 18. Another branch 19 of vessel 1 is filled with reference liquid 20, the level of which is kept constant, for example, by dropper 21. The space between the membranes 2 is filled with a dielectric fluid through the plugs 22. The angular movement of the shaft 12 is recorded by the device 23.
Hydrostatic density meter is as follows.
23.When the density of the controlled fluid changes, the force acting on the membrane 2, which causes them to deflect (the force from one membrane to the other is transmitted through the dielectric fluid flowing through the perforation of the partition 3). The distance between the septum and each of the membranes changes accordingly, and consequently, the capacitance of the respective capacitors, which causes an imbalance in the measuring bridge, balanced before the measurement begins. The unbalance signal is supplied through a phase-sensitive amplifier 10 to the input of the electric motor 11, which is turned on, which, when the density of the controlled liquid decreases, shaft 12 lifts the cup 13 and vice versa. Moving the glass 13 with the drain holes 14 causes a change in the level of the monitored liquid 17, and therefore a change in the force on the diaphragms, until the balance of the measuring bridge is restored. The density of the controlled liquid is judged by the angular displacement of the shaft 12 recorded by the device 23.
