Description

Однако в большинстве случаев они либо дают недостаточную точность измерени , либо отличаютс  сложностью оборудовани , требующего квалифицированного обслуживани .Various methods are known for continuously measuring the specific gravity of liquids. However, in most cases they either provide insufficient accuracy of measurement, or are characterized by the complexity of the equipment requiring qualified service.

In contrast to the known, the proposed method for continuously measuring the specific gravity of liquids has a high measurement accuracy and does not require complicated equipment. The method is based on measuring the level of the interface between the measured and non-miscible standard liquids, which flow continuously and separately into one of the bends of the U-shaped tube. Drainage of liquids occurs separately from strictly constant levels, while the reference liquid must have a constant specific gravity, which may be more or less than the specific gravity of the measured liquid.

The drawing shows a diagram of a U-shaped tube for continuous measurement of the specific gravity of liquids for the case when the reference liquid has a smaller specific gravity than the measured one. The measured fluid through the shtutser / is supplied to the knee 2 of the vertical U-shaped tube and is drained from a constant level 3 through the fitting 4. At the same time, the reference liquid is continuously fed to the knee 2 through the fitting 5 and, draining from a constant level 6 through fitting 7, again returning to 1 deer 2 through fitting 5. The specific gravity of the liquid to be measured is determined by measuring the position of the interface between the measured and reference liquids, and the measurements can be carried out by any known method.
