Description

METHOD FOR SALVING GLASS WITH METAL, CERAMICS AND OTHER MATERIALS

It was filed on October 17, 1960, No. 682341/29, in the Committee for Inventions and Discoveries under the Council of Ministers of the USSR

Published in the "Bulletin of inventions Xg 9 for 9b1.

The known method of high-frequency heating of glass, however, heating the glass to its softening temperature by this method is impossible due to the fact that the glass becomes electrically conductive. In metallurgy, a method of electrospray metal working is known.

The proposed method combines the processes occurring during high-frequency heating, heating by a spark discharge, and heating due to the electrical conductivity of the glass into one common process.

Thus, the melting of glass with metal, ceramics and other materials is carried out by heating the glass to the required temperature with localization of the place of heating. For heating, the parts are placed in the spark gap of the high-frequency oscillator and rotated between two electrodes, or several pairs of electrodes are installed.

Initially, the spark discharge passes through the air, and after heating the glass over its surface. Since the discharge takes place in a very narrow channel, the glass heats up in a limited area: the localized zone, and the temperature inside the device being manufactured remains quite low.

Предложенным способом можно получить спаи пор дка 0,1-0,5 мм с регулированием его высоты, при высокой стабильности и хорощем качестве спа .Using the proposed method, it is possible to obtain junctions on the order of 0.1-0.5 mm with regulation of its height, with high stability and good quality of the spa.

радиоэлектронной аппаратуры, котора  до сих пор не имела удовлетворительного решени .Thus, when implementing the described method, it solves the problem of the automated manufacture of compact adhesives in the manufacture of microminiature radio electronic equipment, which has not yet had a satisfactory solution.

138008 2 The subject invention

The method of soldering glass with metal, ceramics and other materials, characterized in that, in order to heat the glass to the required temperature and localize heating, soldered parts made of glass and metal, ceramics or other material are placed in the spark gap of the high-frequency oscillator and rotate it between two electrodes, or install several pairs of electrodes.
