Термоэлемент (см. чертеж) состоит из двух пр моугольных стержней 1 и 2 различных полупроводниковых сплавов, один из которых имеет в паре с металлом положительный коэффициент термоэдс, а другой - отрицательный. Между стержн ми вклеена электроизол ционна  прокладка 3. Рабоча  (торцова ) поверхность стержией покрыта пленкой 4 металла с высокой электропроводностью (медь, серебро). Пленка - и поверхность стержней, на которую она нанесена, образуют гор чий спай. РОЛЬ ХОЛОДНОГО спа  выполн ют контакты 5 дл  отвод щих проводов.
