Abstract

FIELD: metallurgy; applicable in aircraft industry. SUBSTANCE: alloy based on aluminum contains, mas. magnesium 1.0-4.5; lithium 1.5-3.0; iron 0.05-0.4; beryllium 0.05-0.4; copper 0.01-0.3; silicon 0.02-0.15; titanium 0.005-0.2; zirconium 0.05-0.2; hydrogen 1,7·10-4,5-10; one or several elements of group including scandium, yttrium, chromium 0.05-0.4; the balance, aluminum. Introduction in the alloy of one or several elements of the group including scandium, yttrium and chromium increases yield point up to 3-34 kgf sq.mm; elongation up to 16-18% maximum reduction degree up to 65-80% impact strength up to 1.8-3.0 kgf sq.mm; effective value of cross-section of capture of thermal neutrons up to 28-37 bars with preserved tensile strength at the level of 43-48 kdf·mm. EFFECT: higher yield, ductility, impact strength and degree of thermal neutron absorption. 2 tbl
