Description

400°.A known method of making asbestos heat insulating material with suction of water on a grid and with a treatment for insulating its surfaces with organosilicon compounds. The manufacture of such material is carried out on the equipment of paper production and it is used to isolate surfaces with temperatures up to 400 °.

160-180°.According to the proposed method, in order to increase the mechanical strength of the produced material and its thermal performance, 10% cotton is added to the dissolved asbestos. The resulting mixture is combed on machines used in the production of long-fiber papers, and layered under the action of vacuum on the conveyor mesh. Then, a dense fabric is placed on the opposite side (from the conveyor net) side and, in the clamped state, one-sidedly from the side of the net, a silicone emulsion is glued in the bath. The glued material is subjected to drying during rounding with it while passing through a drying cylinder with a surface temperature of 160-180 °.

In carrying out the production of the proposed method, textile varieties of asbestos are not required and can be used, due to the use of cotton additives, of its low varieties.
