Abstract

FIELD: petrochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: catalyst containing platinum, halogen, promoter (Cd, Re, Co, Sn, Zn, Ir, Ni) and alumina as carrier is prepared by impregnating alumina grains with aqueous solution of platinumhydrochloric acid, promoter compounds and acetic acid in presence of hydrochloric acid or its mixture with sulfuric acid followed by drying and calcination of catalyst obtained at 100-500 C in the air flow, grinding into grains 20-250 mcm size, reshaping, drying, and final calcination at 100-500 C. Testing catalyst in the reforming process of gasoline fraction (pressure 2.0 MPa, volume relative velocity of raw material feeding 1.5 h, circulation of hydrogen-containing gas 1500 nl per 1 l of raw material) has shown higher activity (product with octane number 95 is obtained at 480-490 C) at higher selectivity - 85.2-85.7 wt % (in conventional method 494 C and 83.1 wt %, respectively).
