Abstract

FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: device for measuring deformation of rocks includes receiver of light energy in form of reflector with transparent screen and transmitter of light energy in form of focusing attachment of light transmitting fibers. Attached to measuring tape of measuring instrument are receiving fiber- optic light conduit and transmitting fiber-optic light conduit. Lower ends of fiber-optic light conduits are optically connected with receiver and transmitter, and tape is connected with the upper end of light conduit. Instrument optical prism is connected with upper end of light conduit, and receiving surface of focusing attachment is parallel to light-reflecting surface of subsurface datum mark. In course of device operation, transducer is moved along well with datum marks. Light signal appears on receiver screen. Reading is taken off tape. After measurements in direction of hole bottom, transducer is withdrawn and deformation of rock mass is determined by measurement results. EFFECT: simplified and safe measurements. 3 dwg
