Description

Methods of absolute intent of ultrasound intensity by a thermal receiver, insulated from the environment, and its heating rate are known. Methods are also known for absolute measurement of the ultrasound intensity by a thermal receiver not thermally insulated from the environment, in which the intensity is measured at the steady-state temperature of the heat output.

The disadvantage of these methods is their laboriousness, due to the complexity of determining the heat transfer coefficient, as well as the complexity of the structures used to implement the methods.

The proposed method is much better known. This is achieved by the use of absolute thermal measurements for absolute measurements of conventional miniature (non-calorimetric) thermal receivers, heat insulation, commonly used for relative measurements and characterized by simplicity of design.

In addition, the proposed method has the advantage that it does not require a heat transfer coefficient to measure. The essence of the method is that the heating rate of the absorber is measured at the initial moment of irradiation with the temperature difference between the absorber and the environment close to zero.

Subject invention

A method for measuring the intensity of ultrasound in absolute units using a thermal receiver not thermally insulated from the environment, by the rate of change of the absorber temperature, characterized in that, in order to simplify the design, the heating rate is measured at the initial irradiation time at the temperature difference between the absorber and the surrounding Wednesday close to zero
