Abstract

The invention relates to medical technology and is intended for orthopedics and traumatology. The purpose of the invention is to reduce trauma of the bones of the joint and surrounding tissues and to increase the efficiency of unloading of the articular surfaces. The device contains a pneumatic cuff I. The outer surface of which is reinforced in the transverse direction with inextensible yarns 2. The cuff 1 has feeding tubes 3 with valves 4. For fixing to the bones and joint endoprostheses, the cuff has on one side a pull-down juice of 5 fixing on the proximal end of the bone or its endonrosthesis, and on the other hand, loop 6. Cuff 1 is rectangular and has loops 7 and buttons 8 on both sides, through which the cuff forms an envelope that is closed around the bone. 3 il. i (L 5 figure 1

Description

The invention relates to medical technology and can be used in orthopedics and traumatology for unloading articular surfaces by the joint and in endoprosthetics of the joints.

The purpose of the invention is to reduce injuries to the bones of the joint and surrounding tissues and to increase the efficiency of unloading of the articular surfaces.

FIG. 1 shows a device for unloading a joint, general view; in fig. 2 - the same, in expanded form; in fig. 3 is a section A-A in FIG. one.

The device for unloading the joint contains a pneumatic cuff 1 made of elastic material, the outer surface of which is reinforced in the transverse direction with inextensible yarns 2, which ensures that the cuff 1 is stretched only in the longitudinal direction. The cuff 1 has delivery tubes 3 with valves 4 through which the cuff 1 is inflated. For fixing the joint to the bone and joint endoprostheses, the cuff has, on one side, contraction of juice 5 for fixation at the proximal end of the bone or its endoprosthesis, and on the other the sides are loops 6 through which the threads can be held to fix the cuff 1 to the articular cavity or its endoprosthesis.

The cuff 1 is rectangular and has loops 7 and buttons 8 on both sides, by means of which the cuff forms an envelope closed around the bone.

The device for unloading the joint is used as follows.

. The cuff 1 is installed on the desired area of the bone or its endoprosthesis and fixed by means of tightening over 5, fasten the loops 7 on the buttons 8, while the cuff 1 covers the bone. In doing so, the end surface 9 rests on the joint cavity around the head of the bone. If necessary, threads are led through loops 6 to more securely fix the cuff 1 to the surface of the articular cavity.

Then through the tube 3 with the valve 4, the working fluid (helium, carbon dioxide, liquid, etc.) is fed into the cuff and thus inflated. When this occurs, the size of the cuff 1 increases only in the longitudinal direction, since reinforcing threads 2 are limited in its transverse direction. The end surface 9 of the cuff, abutting against the articular surface of the cavity, squeezes the bone head from the last, forming a gap between them, and thus relieves stress from the joint. The degree of pressure in cuff 1 can be adjusted if necessary.

  1. Invention Formula
    A device for unloading a joint, containing a relieving element with fastening elements, characterized in that, in order to reduce the trauma of the bones of the joint and surrounding tissues and increase the efficiency of unloading of the articular surfaces, the relieving element is designed as a pneumatic cuff with reinforcement on the outer surface, and the fastening elements are made in the form of a cuff on one side and cuffs and loops on the other side.
