Abstract
о «б (Л с с о 4 со елThe invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to the compositions of slag-forming mixtures used for treating metal in a tundish during continuous casting of steel. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the content of non-metallic inclusions in steel. Z4l is achieved by treating the metal in the tundish with a slag-forming mixture containing, in wt%: cement 20-40; carbon-containing material 5-20; silicate block 5-20; fin spar 10-20; perlite 20-40. The introduction of perlite into the composition of the mixture provides a slag melt with an increased assimilating capacity with respect to non-metallic inclusions (oxides) due to the low content of aluminum and iron oxides in the slag. The steel treated with the mixture according to the invention contains a minimum amount of non-metallic inclusions. Mix consumption 0.8–0.9 kg / t steel. 2 tab. about “b (L of with about 4 has eaten
Description

From tab. 2, it follows that the proposed slag-forming mixture, which is characterized by low melting temperatures, ensures the formation of a slag melt with a low content of aluminum and iron oxides. This contributes to the increased assimilative capacity of the slag during the processing of the metal in the tundish, resulting in a reduced content of non-metallic inclusions in the steel.
