Description
The invention relates to the deposition of electroplating., In particular, to the designs of soluble anodes, and can be used in. electroplating shops where metal coatings are applied to small-sized parts by an electrolytic method.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the term of operation and improve the quality of coatings.
FIG. 1 shows the proposed anode, a longitudinal section i in FIG. 2, a process of dissolving a metal using a flat anode.
The proposed soluble anode 1 has curved side edges 2 and straight linear edges 3, Anode 1 is made with side surfaces convex in opposite directions, its longitudinal section is an ellipse with cut ends. The thickness of the anode in the central cross section is twice the thickness at the ends.
Предлагаемый растворимый анод может быть изготовлен либо отливкой в форму, либо вырубкой из листов., полученных прокаткой спецпрофил .The proposed soluble anode can be made either by casting into a mold or by cutting from sheets. The special profile obtained by rolling.
The proposed soluble anode works as follows.
Using a hook that attaches to the anode, the latter is installed in an electrolyte bath. To the anode and de-. An electric current is supplied to the wire that transfers the metal of the anode to the parts.
When small parts are coated with the most intense dissolution zone, the central part of the anode is thickened in this zone. An unequal dissolution of the anode leads to uneven
The distribution of power lines between the anode and the cathode (part) in the electrolyte, which leads to a decrease in the quality of the coating To ensure uniform dissolution of the anode in thickness in the proposed anode, the amount of metal gradually increases from the ends to the center, i.e. curvilinear and convex in opposite
Jthe sides are made of lateral surfaces, which ensures uniform and simultaneous dissolution of the anode part immersed in the electrolyte. Uniform dissolution of the anode allows to obtain high-quality coatings, and simultaneous dissolution allows not only to increase the service life of the anodes, but also to improve the operating conditions (as if the the bottom of the process must be stopped, and pieces of anodes fall off from the bottom of the bath), J
The proposed soluble anode makes it possible to improve the conditions of operation and increase the productivity of labor; in its application, the coating on the surface of the parts is distributed evenly. The anode of the proposed form is manufactured waste-free.
