Abstract
METHOD OF STOPPING THE BLEEDING by using drugs, characterized in that, in order to reduce the number of complications and reduce blood loss or reduce the time to stop bleeding during surgical interventions with a large bleeding surface, 4 / o of potassium chloride heated as a medicine is used to 39-42 ° C, applied to the wound surface by irrigation in an amount of 1.0-1.2 ml per 1 cm of the wound surface.

OS The invention relates to medicine, in particular to experimental surgery, and can be used to stop bleeding from capillaries, small and medium vessels in an experiment, regardless of their location (with the exception of bone and heart vessels), both with and without syndrome The aim of the invention is to reduce the number of complications and reduce blood loss or reduce the time to stop bleeding during surgical procedures with a large bleeding surface. The method is illustrated by the following example. The effectiveness of the method tested in the experiment on a female dog weighing 14 kg. Under ether-oxygen anesthesia, after the preparation of the surgical floor, a layer-by-layer oblique incision of the skin, subcutaneous tissue and muscles of the right and lower abdomen was performed. The bleeding wound up to 12 cm long and up to 3 cm wide is irrigated with 4% potassium chloride solution heated to 39-42 ° C in the amount of 1.1 ml / cm of the wound surface. After 1.5 min, the bleeding from the wound stopped. One crossed muscular artery with a diameter of up to 2 mm was immediately taken over the ligature. Kra wounds divorced t, open the abdominal cavity. An intestinal loop and mesentery are brought into the surgical wound and placed in a sterile petri dish. An incision is made on the intestine with the intersection of veins and arteries; the wound of the intestine is irrigated with 4% sterile potassium chloride solution heated to 40–41 ° C. Bleeding from the arteries and veins of the intestine ceased after 1 min and did not resume during the entire presence of potassium chloride in the wound. After 20 minutes, the bowel loop housed in the wound and the mesentery were washed warm (40-41 ° C) with physiological sodium chloride solution. There is no bleeding from the wound, the intestine is sutured in layers and immersed in the abdominal cavity along with the sutured mesentery. The wound surface of the skin is washed with a saline solution of any indifferent salt, for example, sodium chloride. The vasospasm caused by the irrigation of the wound with potassium chloride has disappeared, the bleeding has not resumed, it was not necessary to suture the vessels. The abdominal cavity and the wound is sutured in layers. Wound healing occurred by primary tension. The postoperative period was uneventful. Stitches are on the 6th day.
