The invention relates to devices used for mixing liquids, and can be used in mechanized lines for the preparation of paints, plastics and other compositions.
The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of the mixing of highly viscous liquids.
FIG. 1 shows a mixer in section, a general view of FIG. 2 is a flow chart; on fig.Z mixer, cross section; in fig. 4 - channel crossing element
The mixer includes a housing 1 in which is placed the mixing element 2, made in the form of a cylindrical body with helical grooves of the right 3 and left 4 directions on the outer surface. Each of the grooves is connected to the inlets 5 and 6, respectively.
The helical grooves have a different depth due to the eccentricity made relative to each other and the common surface of the cylinder, this makes it possible to obtain an intersection of the grooves with a constant alternating depth. Thus, a groove connected to one of the inlets and having a smaller depth at the first intersection point, at the next intersection point, i.e. located on the opposite side of a cylindrical surface relative to a given point, will have a greater depth compared to another groove connected to another inlet, and vice versa, a second groove with a greater depth on one side.
9.on the opposite will have less depth. At the opposite end of the mixing element, the grooves are connected through an annular groove 7 with an outlet nozzle 8. Seals 9 are located at the ends of the mixing element.
The mixer works as follows.
Компоненты, проход через места пересечени канавок , смешиваютс , затем поступают через кольцевую проточку на смесительном элементе в выходной патрубок .Components through the inlet nozzles 5 and 6 on the body enter the grooves of the mixing element. The components, passing through the intersection of the grooves, are mixed, then passed through an annular groove on the mixing element to the outlet.
The pattern of movement of components through the channels is shown in FIG. 2. At each intersection point, the grooves have different depths and constantly alternate. At the same time, at the intersection, in a groove having a greater depth, the flow is divided into two streams, one of which continues to move along this groove, i.e. it is not affected by a component moving along a shallower groove. The second separated stream goes
0 into the second groove under the influence of the flow in a shallower groove and at the same time deflects it into a deeper groove.
So the department is constantly
5 part of the flow from the material passing through one groove, and adding the separated part to the material passing along the second groove, a uniform distribution of particles is achieved
