The method is carried out as follows.
First, a coloring composition is prepared separately, consisting of 25-30% by weight of thermally activated (at 600-650 ° C for 3 hours) dolomite powder with a specific surface of 250-300, 5-10% by weight of inorganic pigment, 5 wt.% talk and 50-60 wt.% sodium or potassium water glass with a ratio of SiOj, 5-3 and a density of 1.3 g / cm. All paint components are mixed in a ball mill 2 for 30 minutes.
Then, portions of dry and clean aggregates from bunker 1 are poured into mixer 4 of type CER (spiral-vortex mixer), ensuring their intensive mixing.
1.At the same time, silicate paint is poured into the mixer. Paint consumption mainly depends on the size of the grains to be painted and is given in Table. one.
3031In the process of mixing, due to friction, the grains are coated with a thin uniform layer of paint for 15–20 s., P1) and its minimum consumption. The painted grains enter the intermediate hopper 5, from where with the help of a belt feeder 6 they are fed into a spinner (ice drum 8, the rotation speed of which is 3031
50 rpm with a diameter of 0.4-0.8 m and a length of 3-4 m. In this drum, the grains acquire a rather intensive movement, which prevents the sticking of individual grains into clumps. In addition, the drum is provided with a fan 7, which creates a stream of hot air inside the drum. The air is taken from the second heat-treating drum and can be returned to this drum again. In 2-3 minutes the grain passes through the dryer, drum and enters the slowly rotating thermoset drum 9, whose rotational speed is 3-4 rpm, diameter 0.8-1.6 m, length 6-8 m. This rotation only contributes mixing of the material and uniform heating of its entire volume, as well as transportation of grains along the drum axis, which does not cause noticeable damage to the color layer from friction. Mounted inside the drum IR emitters 10 heat the mass of aggregates to 150-180 ° C. The residence time of the grains in the heating zone is controlled by varying the angle of the drum and is approximately 30 minutes. From the drum heat treatment of grain is fed into the bunker 11 of the finished product.
2.The values of the main technological parameters and the properties of the output product are given in table. 2

Расшир етс ассортимент изготовл е- , мого материала.only one technical tool is used. The method is simple, reliable and cost effective. Due to the thin layer of color on the surface of the grains, the process of their drying is greatly facilitated and the pollution of the process equipment is reduced by paint. The process of preparing the coloring composition is also greatly simplified. The appropriate layout of the process equipment eliminates a number of transport operations, since the substance to be manufactured is mainly driven by gravity. The quality of the decorative aggregates obtained is increased, since a thin, uniform decorative film that is produced has several advantages (for example, improved weather resistance, adhesion strength) over a thick and uneven film. A new method of curing avoids the sticking of the grains into clumps and damage to the color film from friction. The cost of the fillers produced is reduced by the use of a cheap dye composition and a reduction in its consumption. Dp staining uses cheap raw aggregates (for example, crushing waste from dolomite rock). The energy costs are reduced due to a significant reduction in the painting time and the use of hot air from the heat treatment drum for the primary drying. The assortment of manufactured material is expanded.
