Description
Известно, введение в чугуны небольших количеств висмута, бора и применение в составе комплексных модификаторов алюмини .It is known that the introduction of small amounts of bismuth, boron into cast irons and the use of aluminum as part of complex modifiers.
The subject matter of the described invention is the use of a complex modifier, the main components of which are boron, bismuth and aluminum, which are in definite ratios and are not entered separately, but together. The composition of the complex modifier is supplied in a crushed form in a paper bag and a jet of metal when it is discharged from the electric furnace to the ladle. During the time that elapses from the moment the modifier is introduced into the ladle until the cast iron is poured into the mold (from 3-12 minutes), the metal is exposed to the modifier. As a result of this modification, the metastability of white iron cement increases dramatically, the number of graphitization centers increases, and the rate of diffusion of carbon increases during the heat treatment of cast iron. This leads to a reduction in the disintegration time of eutectoid and eutectic cementite of modified iron.
940-950°.The duration of heating of castings to 900 ° during heat treatment depends on the thermal characteristics of the furnace and the size of the charge. To ensure optimum mechanical properties, the temperature of the first graphitization stage is 940–950 °.
