Description

The invention is a device for removing stones from the ureters.

The known devices for the same purposes do not provide a suction stone to the head of the catheter.

A distinctive feature of the proposed device is that. that it is made in the form of two catheters inserted one into another, between the ends of which a rubber tube is fixed, expanding when air or water is injected into the space between the catheters. In this case, the inner catheter can be connected to a source of vacuum, whereby the stone is sucked to the head of the catheter.

The drawing shows the structural diagram of the proposed device.

Two catheters 1 and 2 are inserted one into the other. A rubber tube 3 is put on the ends of both catheters. To the inner catheter, it is glued with BF-2 glue and tied with a ring of silk threads impregnated with Kapal varnish. The tube is glued to the external catheter using a spacer 4 made of stainless steel or acrylate.

The rubber tube 3 creates an isolated space between the cannulae. Opposite ends of the catheters are inserted into a pipe made of stainless steel, where they are sealed with rubber cuffs, with external nuts.

G.For communication with the atmosphere of the channel of the inner catheter, a nipple 5 is fastened on the nozzle, and for communication with the atmosphere of the isolated space, a second nipple G is provided between the catheters.

The principle of operation of the proposed device is as follows.

The ureteral (working part) of the device is a conventional catheter, which can be freely inserted into the mouth of the ureter through a conventional catheterization cystoscope. Initially, radiographically, and before the device is inserted, the depth of the ureteral catheter is determined
