Description

BASIC Auth. St. N ° 112893 describes a schematic diagram of a maw-vacuum meter with mutually balanced pistons (irost.m and differential), which can be used to measure excess pressure, vacuum pressure and atmospheric pressure. It is possible to use this instrument also for measuring absolute pressure, but in this case the readings of the instrument depend on the change in atmospheric pressure during the measurement time, which can cause measurement errors of the order of 1 mmHg. Art. Therefore, the known device for measuring absolute pressure, with the requirement of high measurement accuracy, is incorrect.

The proposed vacuum piston meter with reciprocally balanced pistons is free from this drawback. His readings are almost independent of the change in atmospheric pressure during the measurement time. This is achieved by the fact that both pistons are made differential with the same effective values of the corresponding, their plate, adey.

The device device is schematically depicted in the drawing.

При первом уравновешивании в обоих резервуарах создаетс  любое, но одинаковое абсолютное давление, а при втором-один из резервуаров соедин етс  с пространством, в котором создано измер емое давление (жти разрежение ), а второй или соедин етс  с атмосферой (при измереии избы .JVs i2263i- 2 -The device consists of two piston pressure gauges with differential pistons connected to each other, as shown in the diagram, and two tanks. The man-vacuum meter is filled with a working fluid (kerosene, transformer oil, dibutyl phthalate, etc., depending on the purpose of the device and the limit in measurement) and is a compensating device. In the measurement process, two equalizations are made, in which both pors are brought to the same position. The first equilibration in both tanks creates any, but the same absolute pressure, and in the second, one of the tanks is connected to the space in which the measured pressure is created (negative pressure), and the second or the atmosphere (when measuring excess .JVs i2263i- 2 -

р ольному вакуумметру.accurate pressure and dilution), or with a space in which a small absolute (residual) pressure (normal 0.02 mm Hg) is determined (at the time of measurement) using a constant vacuum gauge.
