Description

Изобретение относитс  к способам дуговой сварки алюминиевобериллиевого сплава марки АБ в защитной среде аргона или гели .The invention relates to methods for arc welding of an aluminum-beryllium alloy of the AB brand in a protective atmosphere of argon or gels.

Known methods of this kind do not provide creep welds of sufficient density and strength.

To eliminate this drawback, it is proposed to use flux in the form of chloride and fluoride salts and their mixtures in welding.

Сварка производитс  плав щимс  или неплав щимс  электродом в среде защитного газа аргона или гели .Before welding, the edges of the metal being welded are coated with a flux on the reverse side. Welding is performed by melting or non-melting electrode in a protective gas of argon or gels.

Rods or wires from base metal, as well as aluminum and its alloys, for example, АМЦ, АК, М-40 and others can be used as filler metal.

The use of flux provides good protection of the metal being welded against oxidation and contributes to the good formation of the welded joint. In this case, the ductility of the weld metal exceeds the ductility of the base metal.

Testing of welded joints showed the absence of defects in the joint and its full tightness.
