The invention relates to equipment for drilling oil and gas wells, in particular, to devices for carrying out tripping operations with drill pipes while combining the lowering-lifting operations with screwing-unscrewing pipes. The purpose of the invention is to improve the performance during the descent of the pipe into the well by reducing the time for insertion of the lower end of the pipe into the traveling block. FIG. 1-3 shows a traveling block with an automatic elevator (in three projections) in the process of lowering pipes into a well, a general view, in FIG. 4 - the traveling block when lifting pipes from a well, view in plan. The traveling block for lowering and lifting the drill pipe contains two sections 1 and 2, inside of which are located on an axis x 3 pulleys, 4. The connecting element 5 with the front face open is rigidly attached to the pulley sections. On sections 1 and 2 of the hull of the pulley block by means of stropes 6, an automatic elevator 7 is hinged with a receiving socket 8, the elevator case has a closed structure. On the side of the open edge of the traveling block, on each section 1 and 2, stops 9 are installed with springs 10 for fixing the lower crank when the drill pipe 11 is inserted into the well. When using a blocking unit with a hinged-mounted connecting element 5 turning 1, on the reverse side of sections 1 and 2 install a second similar pair of spring-loaded stops. When lifting the pipe from the well, the stops 9 are transferred to the non-operating position and fixed with fingers 12. The traveling block operates as follows. In the process of lowering pipes into the well, the pipe 11, held by the upper end by the tube holder, is fed from the undercutter to the axis of the well, while the traveling block is in the lower half and the elevator 7 is mounted on the sleeve of the pipe string. The stops 9 are in the working position, i.e. spring-loaded in the open face of the traveling block, and blocking its passage with the possibility of inserting the pipe into its central part. The lower end of the pipe 11 presses against the spring-loaded stops 9 and enters the open face of the traveling block when entering the groove of the traveling block. The springs 10 return the stops 9 to the initial position, i.e. close the passage of the pulley block. The pipe is locked in the central part, since, pushing away from the connecting element 5, it can no longer get out of the traveling block. The design and dimensions of the stops 9 are chosen so that for any polishing of pipe 11 its nipple falls into the socket 8 of the automatic elevator. 7 and centered with respect to the clutch with which it is to be screwed. Then, the traveling block is lifted together with an elavator along this pipe while screwing the pipes together. Further work is performed in a known sequence. When pipes are lifted from the well, the stops 9 are sunk; in sections 1 and 2 of the body of the traveling block, they are fixed with fingers 12, i.e. The open end of the pulley block is uncoupled to remove the raised tube from it. Due to this design of the pulley block, the cycle time for the descent of one tube is reduced, since no additional time is required for its calming down, until the vertical position is taken, the exit of the tube from the pulley block is eliminated, i.e. at the same time, the reliability of operation increases, the possibility of increasing the feed rate of the pipe increases, since in a closed space dynamic forces are extinguished and the pipe takes up a vertical position in a non-natural way.
