Description
The invention relates to the construction and can be used in tests of building structures for water resistance in laboratory conditions. The aim of the invention is to reduce the time to determine the water tightness of concrete. FIG. 1 shows a circuit test of a concrete sample for waterproofing; Fig. 2 is a graph showing the variation of the current flowing through the sample against time. Testing the concrete sample for water resistance is carried out as follows. Sensor 1, which is an electrically conductive fabric on an elastic basis, is placed on the upper surface of the test sample and inserted into an electrical measuring circuit 2 consisting of a power supply 3, a measuring drive (microammeter) 4 and the test specimen 5. Then, through tube 6, the passage through the pallet 7, water is supplied under a certain pressure into the gap formed by the elastic ring 8. Sensor 1 is then pressed against the test sample 5 by means of a gasket 9 made of metal and rubber and a pressure device 10. Water under pressure rotates into a concrete sample, forming in accordance with the pressure a series of consecutive dome-shaped zones 11 and 12. During testing of the sample at a certain pressure, first the humidity of the sample increases, which results in an increase in the height of the dome, and then stabilization occurs and the humidity stops decreasing. After that, the pressure is transferred to the next step and so on until the outer surface of the sample is soaked. When power source 3 is turned on, electric circuit 2 with test sample 5 passes current with stabilized voltage, fixed by measuring device 4. As the humidity of sample 5 changes, its electrical resistance also changes, which is fixed by device 4. Transition to the next pressure level is performed immediately after stabilization of the current and the corresponding stabilization of the moisture content of the sample at a given pressure. Section I of the curve (FIG. 2) corresponds to the initial state of the sample (before water supply); Section 1J reflects the change in the moisture state of the sample with increasing water pressure by one step; The iTl region corresponds to the sample in the state of moisture stabilization, when the water dome 12 ceases to move in height and the current strength I practically does not change. The appearance of plot 111 (point A) indicates the possibility of moving to the next step. At. the appearance of a drop or a wet spot under sensor 1 sharply increases the magnitude of the current I, which indicates that the sample is getting wet and the end of the test.
