Description
The invention is related to the mechanical processing of non-metallic materials, namely, polishing suspensions used in the processing of optical glasses.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the polishing ability of the suspension,
2.An acid solution of rare-earth metals nitrates is used as an acidic solution of rare-earth metals (rare-earth materials), which is prepared by dissolving water-insoluble RMZ mixed carbonates in diluted nitric acid (1: 1). A mixture of REE carbonates of the following composition is used, wt.% Cl-jCCOi) 52.0; HACCP) 26.5 NdCCO (j), 16.0; ) 5.5 Recycled nitric acid is poured to the carbonate of rare-earth metals with stirring until complete dissolution of the sample, providing a given concentration of rare-earth metals in an acidic solution. The pH of an acid solution of REM nitrates in experiments is 2.
Величину рН контролируют по универсальной индикаторной бумаге и прибору (рН-метр-262).Acetic acetate buffer solution of the desired pH value (4.04, 5) is prepared using 1N. acetic acid solution, 1N. caustic soda solution and distilled water. The pH value is controlled by the universal indicator paper and the device (pH-meter-262).

The liquid part of the suspension is prepared by adding an acetate buffer solution to water, then an acidic solution of rare-earth metals in a given 5 volume ratio.
Polyrite is used as a polishing powder (solid part of the suspension).
Polishing slurry was tested with polished flat optical parts with a diameter of 75 mm made of bF 16 optical glass. A number of experiments were carried out using TC 14 and K 8 optical glass parts. Polishing was carried out using manual lubrication on a 2 ShP-200 machine in modes : spindle rotation speed 100 rpm; specific pressure on glass 100 g / cm. The material of the polishing pad is peccanophilic resin. The suspension is fed to the polishing zone evenly after 30 seconds. The polishing ability of the suspension is estimated by the amount of glass parts polished from the surface of the glass processed within 30 minutes. The surface quality of the polished part is monitored visually with a magnifying glass with a 7-fold magnification. The results of the experiments are tabulated.
