The invention relates to the preparation of polishing compositions used for the abrasive treatment of glass in the optomechanical, medical, and other industries.
For polishing glass, water dispersions of highly dispersed oxides of metals cerium, zirconium, etc., or their mixture with other compounds are widely used. These materials are pre-filtered, separated by fractions by water classification by CO-filtering, separation by fractions is necessary in case the polishing material contains coarse particles or foreign particles - inclusions.
The closest to the technical and the achieved effect to the proposed is a method of obtaining a suspension for polypropylene by mechanical mixing of zirconium dioxide and basic zirconium sulfate (jQCU) c. water until suspension of 1.2J, which is then used in the circulation feed for polishing glass.
Полировальный состав, полученный таким способом, имеет хорошее полировально ,е действие, повьшает качество поверхности обрабатываемых деталей .However, the polishing effect of a known compound on a BBK-3 eyeglass when using high intensive treatment modes is low and does not provide a high quality of the treated surface. . The aim of the invention is to increase the polishing ability of the slurry and increase the quality of the glass surface to be treated. The goal is achieved according to the proposed method of obtaining a suspension for polishing glass by mechanical mixing of zirconium dioxide and basic zirconium sulfate with water, using basic zirconium sulfate pH 3-3.5 at a percentage ratio of basic zirconium sulfate and zirconium dioxide (10-70): (30-90) and with a volume ratio of the latter and water 1; (212), respectively. The polishing compound obtained in this way has a good polishing effect, it does not affect the surface quality of the workpiece.
The intensification of the glass processing regimes leads to the heating of the suspension during the processing up to ZO-AO S, which significantly accelerates the chemical processes that occur during polishing of the glass. Basic zirconium sulphate has a pH of water extract of 1.5-2. With this high acidity, the mechanical process of removing glass dramatically lags behind the chemical interaction. There are defects on the surface of the parts to be machined: dots, deposits, scratches, which reduces the quality of the surface being treated and slows down the polishing process. The use in the processing of a spectacle glass in the intensive mode of the OCC, which has undergone a preliminary multiple repulping and decantation up to pI 3-3.5, ensures the simultaneous flow of processes of mechanical and chemical interaction with the same speed.
The proposed slurry based on zirconium dioxide and rSC is tested under conditions close to production when polishing RBC components from BBK-3 glass with a diameter of 60 mm on a Dama machine in the modes: rotation speed of spindle 300 rpm ,. 100 t / cm, poly-. The substrate is polyurethane. The polishing effect was characterized by the polishing time of a polished sample up to class 14 purity. The surface quality was controlled according to GOST 11141-65. The presence on the surface of the processed parts of the film was controlled with a magnifying glass 6. Thus, the polishing slurry obtained by the proposed method (examples 1-6) reduces by 25% the duration of polishing of parts and increases the surface quality of the parts being worked-by 10% (eliminating the appearance of scratches, points, and blobs). The results of tests of the compositions of the suspension are given in the table.
