The invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and is intended for the treatment of injuries and diseases of the spine.

A device for spinal distraction is known, which contains a rod, at one end of which a section along the length is stepped, hooks with holes, mounted on the ends of the rod with the possibility of movement along the rod and fixation 1.

The disadvantage of the known device is that when the patient moves even in the corset, the spinal column changes its position, which often leads to the movement of the hook along the rod downwards. This is accompanied by a loss of the initial correction of the spine.

The purpose of the invention is to eliminate the loss of the initial correction of the spine.

This goal is achieved by the fact that in the device for spinal distraction containing a rod, at one end of which a section along the length is stepped, hooks with holes mounted on the ends of the rod so that they can move along the rod and fixate, each step of the rod has ellipsoid on both sides bevel, and the hole of one of the hooks is made with bald spots on part of its length.
